COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Following extensive trials, the first safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine has been approved in the UK and is now available to priority groups.

The vaccinations are being delivered to priority groups identified by the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

We are pleased to announce that Taunton Vale Healthcare has been designated as a COVID-19 vaccination centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for our practice to become a part of the worldwide COVID-19 vaccination programme moving into 2021.

When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccination, you will receive an invitation to come forward.

We know lots of people will be eager to get protected, but we are asking patients not to contact us for an appointment as we will not be able to offer you one. You will be contacted when it is your turn.

What does this mean for our patients?

During the week that we are running our COVID-19 vaccination clinics we will be running reduced services.

Routine appointments will be temporarily paused for the week, however there will be some emergency appointments available.

If you require an emergency appointment, please call us on; 01823 250 222.
The emergency phone line will be manned between 8:30am and 6:30pm.

Please note, if you have an appointment booked during the week that we are administering our COVID-19 Vaccination Programme we may have to cancel your appointment. If this is required, one of our patient service advisors will contact you in good time to reschedule your appointment.

Thank you for your ongoing patience during this time, and we look forward to seeing you for your COVID-19 vaccine!
